I was one of two medics on scene when the man who died last night was shot. I barely had time to begin an examination before the cops pushed and baton-ed me off of his body. That man was alive when I left and it will haunt me for the rest of my life that they screamed about 1/2

This is not okay!!! With such a big county like Surrey, local issues vary dramatically, and by removing this local platform for local individuals to have political power, decisions are made by people who don’t know Surrey Heath, or represent too many to act on change! Awful idea!

Today, the Surrey Conservatives revealed a plan to scrap all of Surrey's Borough Councils and rebrand @SurreyCouncil as a unitary authority.
At a time when local communities need local champions, this proposal will take the levers of power further away. It must be resisted.
