@EmptyNettersPod Serious question: do you really want to sign him? I like the player, but it pushes a Hagens or Potrais even further back. Then again Potrais isn’t signed… also I believe Hagens will and should be on the roster. Just seems like a signing that clogs things up a bit imo.
@MikeFromWoburn You already have guys like, Hagens, Potrais jockeying for a roster spot. You sign Kreider, that takes a spot. I don’t hate the idea, and player, but I don’t think it’s the right window for a move like that. If you could get him and promise me at least Hagens will start, then 👍
@DailyFaceoff As a bruins fan I’m pretty happy. Sticker shock like most of the recent contracts. Unfortunately E.Lindholm has been atrocious for most of his tenure. I think he could be a valuable 3C, as long as Minten takes the leap. Upside: Bruins find top 6 center for under $8M.
@EvanMarinofsky If you’re complaining about this contract, you’re probably the same people saying trade Pastrnak or Swayman. Don’t be mad at me, you’re the braindead one.
@RinkyReport Weegar is Canadian, of course he wants to be in Canada. USA guys want to play in America. Why is this even a big deal.
You can either work closer to home and in your own country, or you can move to another country and work a harder job. You tell me which option you’d pick.
Bruins 4th line… sure makes sense. They’re depended on more than putting the puck in the net. However Lindholm in the Bruins top 6 is horrible. Somehow it wouldn’t shock me if they rolled Geekie-Lindholm-Pasta out there for opening night.
@feedthefish79 Dunk on all the other Canadian teams for losing their USA players, but the second Matthews won gold and stepped in the White House, everyone in Toronto wanted him gone.
All that said, keep the same energy all year. Even if Matthews doesn’t produce like he once did.
