BANNED BOOK ALERT!! Milk and Honey By Rupi Kaur. It is one of the most banned books in the U.S. this school year! It’s in the list of 11 most banned books in the 2022-2023 school year because it explores issues of sexual assault and violence.

The hill we climb By Amanda Gorman. The poem was read at Joe Biden's inauguration in 2020. In May of 2023 a parent at an elementary school in Florida, filed a complaint that resulted in the book being removed from the elementary level part of the library
