Major Distribution is where Drake first started telling us his about his issues with UMG. That’s why y’all putting it over the beef are misguided, that was just a curve ball Drake decided to take on cause he loves hiphop and ain’t scared. Her Loss - the entire album if you listen today predicts tons. UMG, label, peers turning to enemies, he had many bars about the industry turning on him. It’s like he knew a storm was coming but had no idea how severe.
I dont like that yall trying to put DV allegations on the same level as Pedophile allegations. Its a reason PEDO’s are isolated away from GP. Its a reason battle rappers dont use a pedo bar every battle. Its a HAIL MARY angle from somebody thats is LOSING. Unless you have proof.
Truthfully I actually been a fan of both Kendrick and Drake but after the beef, I grew to appreciate Drake more and run through his undeniable catalogue. Absolutely incredible, so many visionary lyrics that aged gracefully and tons of manifestation bars. The beef made me realize the hypocrisy and cracks in Kendrick persona and the way he moved. Looking back since Buried Alive, Control verse or even his 4 mixtapes as “Kdot” where he mimics and idolizes Lil Wayne only to see Drake be the chosen one. It was in 2009 Kdot changed his name to Kendrick Lamar and went down the black power, oppressed and 2pac persona. He’s a great artist, but a flawed individual with deep envy and jealousy. 4 Mixtapes to get Lil Wayne attention only to be ghosted. This is just my assessment on a psychological level.
