We were delighted to be invited to a roundtable with Minister Morgan, @educationgovuk officials and other organisations within the anti-bullying sector. It was an opportunity to really amplify the voices and stories of those who use Kidscape's services. Thank you for having us!
On Tuesday we met with Peter Swallow, MP for Bracknell, and we were delighted to hear about his previous work and insight into trauma informed teaching. We discussed the prevalence of poverty-related bullying, a topic that Peter has championed.
We're finalists! Kidscape are delighted that 'The Trek' has been announced as a finalist in this years Smiley Charity Film Awards! The film documents Josh Braid's inspiring fundraising trek to raise vital funds to help children affected by bullying.
On Tuesday we were delighted to meet Theo Shaw, from Mike Reader's office (MP for Northampton South) to share insights into the themes that arise on our Parent Advice Line and the complexity of issues which families and schools are dealing with around bullying.
