A Pennsylvania senator has proposed a bill requiring video game companies to provide 60 days' notice before shutting down a game.

Under the proposal, companies must offer players at least one of the following before shutting down a game:

🔸Ability to play the game offline

🔸An independent online patch to bypass official servers

🔸A refund matching the game's highest price in the past 12 months (at least 25% of the original purchase price)

Subscription-based services with temporary access would be exempt.
