#USMNT striker Folarin Balogun on his immediate reaction to red card:
“I think it was just important to stay calm. I never want to react out of anger and out of emotion. There’s still lots of people we’re inspiring, little kids, boys and girls who are watching, and we have to show them the correct way to handle things, even when you think it's unjust.”
On shaking ref’s hand postgame:
“As said, you can feel like something, injustice can happen to you. It’s not an excuse to be disrespectful… I'm aware that the World Cup might be the first time a lot of American viewers are tuning in. So it's important just to show people, whether things happen to you, good or bad, just to continue to be yourself.”
@briantong Your appearance on the #TheJohnCampeaShow was awesome! Is there anything you don’t do? Tech, sports and now entertainment. Keep up the great work. 🤙🏻 I hope they bring you back for more pop culture takes.
As great as it is to FINALLY have multiview on @YouTubeTV, Google UI designers need to copy how @AppleTV implements it for their sports programming on the Apple TV box. It’s so good and way more elegant. Hopefully we see more updates and refinements
Today, we’re officially launching fully customizable multiview on @YouTubeTV.
Our @youtube teams made one of our most popular features even better. The new multiview builder gives you full control to mix and match live streams (including add-ons like @nfl Sunday Ticket), and build the personalized viewing experience you've been asking for.
@ScottGustin This feels like THX redux and a way to soften the blow of not having IMAX theaters to market Doomsday. Make up a new certification platform that sounds important for movie going experience. I’m sure many will fall for it. But if it means a better overall experience, I’m for it.
@PeterSciretta I had the same reaction. When in doubt, cue the John Williams score! I hope there are surprises and plot points waiting to be experienced. I trust in Filoni and Favreau.
@jsnell@Jeopardy Thoroughly enjoyed this week’s Upgrade podcast. Always wanted to know what the behind the scenes stuff with being on Jeopardy was like! And an awesome interview with @Pogue to boot.
@jsnell@Jeopardy Jamie has been a formidable player. His matches have all been runaway wins. Looking forward to see if you can thwart his TOC ambitions.
The ManningCast used to routinely garner 1.5 million viewers. This season it averaged a little over 800K and often drew 600K. What does the future look like for the MNF altcast?
Really great to bump into the one and only BTeezy @briantong at the NBA Crossover! Fun fact, I met Brian in this same Moscone Center at the last ever MacWorld in 2014. Thanks for stopping to say hello to a fan. Keep up the great work 🤙🏻
GLADIATOR II was rough. The screenplay is an absolute mess, a highly unfocused narrative especially compared to the first film. Paul Mescal is simply miscast (still an incredible actor) and the film only comes alive whenever Denzel Washington is onscreen. A total misfire.
Please understand that this platform is about to become the very least reliable source of information in the aggregate if Trump starts losing tomorrow.
Coup Two requires people to feel "robbed" and Musk is going to go into overdrive making the MAGAs feel that.
You can't escape The Madness. Colman Domingo stars in an all-new action thriller series coming November 28.
