@michaelgungor Another way to say it - systems of thought, including Christianity & non-dualism, require belief of some sort as we follow evidence to determine whether it’s true or not. We then add up the evidence, & believe (or not) & accept (or not). Even Jesus suggested this from His signs.

@michaelgungor Thx for the reply, it’s a great question & it probably would be your statement. My point was that we do have to believe something in order to accept it - whether false or true. Loving Jesus even requires belief that he was a historical person, not just who claimed to be God.

@JoeGGarrison Sure, (and just because I like a good discussion, not being a contrarian!) but a mission statement that’s said often and put up front gets done. We could love something other than God first even in the church - our position, the influence, a non-existent gods ourselves, etc.

@nidhiindiatv @DrTedros This is a huge issue for sure. As a Pastor I’ll be talking about #mentalhealth and #suicide this Sunday. We lose a stadium full of people to just suicide per year! It’s the #2 cause of deaths in ages 10-34. This needs to stop, its trending in the wrong direction.
