@JohnMadden86 You’re right, it’s a private company tickets would cost that. If they are to go ahead, the only way it’d be successful would be to massively subsidise tickets and people accept Irish rail is massively loss making but it’s a public service similar to public healthcare

@JohnMadden86 Rail is by far the best method of transport. Goes city centre to city centre with no traffic, only have to show up a couple of minutes before travel and pretty comfortable. It’s worth investing in IMO and government should continue to subsidise tickets so it’s successful.

@JohnMadden86 I watched the Chelsea game earlier. It’d chalk and cheese. Every Chelsea player knows their role and there is a clear game plan. Not just hoping Ronaldo can score a brace every game. Not getting Conte could be very costly

@JohnMadden86 I think it’s one of those situations where nobody knew much about him before he came except seeing the odd CL highlights but so many analysts claimed he was brilliant and now they won’t go back on it so they make excuses for him.
