We have the goal (and ability) to make the 2028 Summer Olympic medals — and it will involve the community, athletes, and every participating nation. Colorado Springs is Olympic City USA. I don’t want some massive multi-national jewelry company who just doesn’t care about the project to make them. It’ll be Paris medals all over. Part 2 — casting guards and pommels for the US Air Force Academy!

Work took me today to Colorado Springs and @KilroysWorkshop, where owner Ron Hardman showed me the beautiful sabers his team is manufacturing for the U.S. Air Force Academy since bringing the contract back into the U.S. from production in Germany. Pieces and parts have been redesigned to produce a sturdier blade, grip and scabbard — and a more detailed pommel depicting the globe. And how beautiful it is to see each saber etched with “Made in the USA.” #USAFA #USAF #trades #madeintheusa

With over 4K students ages 9+ attending at least one class per year, and another 4 schools slated to open this year, we’re changing how trades education is done. 1/3 ADHD students. 10% are ASD. All are amazing!! We make cool things in our shop but our true product is people and community. #stem #tradeseducation
