We are excited to celebrate Eva as the 2026 Class A Player of the Year!!

Eva is also the 2026 Defensive Player of the Year, the only player in NEPSAC to earn the most votes for both awards. This recognition is a testament to her true two-way dominance. She makes her presence felt on every possession. On both ends of the court. Every night.

Eva led us to our first NEPSAC Class A Championship while leading the team in points, rebounds, assists, steals, deflections, and shooting %. On a team with three 300+ point scorers who utilized assists on 58% of our FGM, in a class loaded with talent, this says a lot. Above all, Eva led our team with grace, humility, and integrity.

Next stop: Towson. They’re getting a problem. 🐯 🐯

2026 SG @CurtoAva is in KY this weekend for her final NCAA Live Period. This kid just gets better every month. She is a knockdown shooter, tough downhill finisher, and tenacious defender. I am proud of our '25 - '26 captain and the strides she continues to make every single day. Her relentless work ethic is the main reason she continues to promise huge upside.

I'm honored to be named Class A Coach of the Year, but this award belongs to our entire program. I am forever grateful to Coach Leib and Coach K who were an integral part of EVERY step we took along our journey this year; to Laurie Rousseau, our AD, who supported us and provided us with everything we needed for our program; to all of my student-athletes present and past who have made me a better coach every day, and to every coach who has opened your gym to me, mentored me, and helped me to be the best version of myself. And most importantly, to my family who have given me the love and freedom to pour so much of my being into this game that I love. Thank you all #GoHeart

Our historic season came to an end on the heels of a 6 point loss to a seasoned, extremely well-coached, now 4x back to back NEPSAC Champions Loomis. We went toe to toe for 32 minutes, and our squad left it all on the floor. Nerves definitely played a factor as we turned the ball over at an alarming rate atypical of our play. Hats off to Loomis and their stifling zone defense. I could not have asked anything more of our girls. They played their hearts out and battled from the jump ball to the final horn representing Sacred Heart with Honor Heart and Hustle.

After a great battle with an incredibly well prepared and disciplined Kent squad, we are THRILLED to move on to the NEPSAC Class A Finals for the first time in school history. A HUGE thank you to the faculty and staff who gave up their first spring break weekend to return to campus and cheer us on today, and to our entire school community for all of your support this season. Our fans were 6th Man of the season! Thank you!! We will face Loomis in the Championship game at 4:15pm at Loomis.
