Definitely a case of defrauding the electorate. Why bother asking for a candidate's party if they can just bait-and-switch?
They should either have to keep their party affiliation until the next election, or they should forfeit their position, allowing for a special election.

Dems hanging onto the Senate in this environment is one of the most remarkable political stories.
And itโs largely thanks to voters under 30, women, and black voters.
Remember that when the media unleashes a *wave* of old, white, ossified men to tell you what to think.
Iโm so proud of being a Black person born from a lineage of survivors of American oppression I donโt think I ever needed a grander backstory than that. Maybe thatโs why these sorts of conspiracy theories never did it for me. I donโt want to be anything else. We are enough.
