I can’t lie, it feels pretty shabby that at Parliament’s International Women’s Day breakfast we are being spoken to by two men - the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition - about the issues facing women.
This week of all weeks.....

[Kim Kleidon @KimmiK7]

@sarahinthesen8 Speaks volumes in relation to the culture though.

@KeiranLusk Welcome to our backyard - literally. We can see Cape Hillsborough from our backyard...may you enjoy all this fabulous region has to offer.

one step forward.....then you're dragged back to the '90s

Rort of the Day: Scott Morrison kills off disclosure to help lobbyists. Good for powerful vested interests, bad for ordinary Australians. #QED #FederalICAC please https://t.co/jl7rwxL5CQ

How to mask

[Kim Kleidon @KimmiK7]

@MCG58 It is of great concern. We have already seen detrimental impacts - no communication, isolated like lepers. The children I worry about most.

[Kim Kleidon @KimmiK7]

@ProfRayWills I continually wonder what people have against clean air, clean water and productive soil....that sustain LIFE. All this requires a healthy ecosystem with functioning organisms - I'm no scientist, but really???

[Kim Kleidon @KimmiK7]

@billbirtles Never heard of him, but I wouldn't give him any air(time) to spread his negativity and hate... #justsayin

[Kim Kleidon @KimmiK7]

@ProfRayWills 30+yrs of inaction - despicable. Now the farmers who could be part of the solution, sequestering elevated carbon levels, are going to the wall while water is allocated to resources #nofoodsecurity #nowatersecurity

[Kim Kleidon @KimmiK7]

If 'Life is what you make it', why choose to make it difficult?

Instead of focusing on others, try making your life the best it can be. What others think or believe is none of your business. #youdoyou #mum 😘

[Kim Kleidon @KimmiK7]

@JamesClear This recently worked a treat at my daughter's 30th birthday when discussing child birth with her mother in law. After hearing I'd spent 4hrs delivering, she quipped 'you must be loose'....

[James Clear @JamesClear]

“You’re probably right” is becoming one of my favorite phrases.

Whenever someone disagrees with you on a small matter (read: most things), you can just shrug, say “you’re probably right” and move on.

Not caring about winning trivial arguments saves so much time and energy.

[Kim Kleidon @KimmiK7]

#consumerism something we are led to believe we need, wrapped in pretty marketing campaigns. We alone have the choice/power to break free from the hype of 'things'.What are we teaching our children? Can we overcome 'I want it'.

[1 Million Women @1millionwomen]

An important reminder in our world of overconsumption.

@KensingtonRoyal Currently filming inspiring stories with resilient farmers around Forbes with @RuralAidAust

[Kim Kleidon @KimmiK7]

@toddsampsonOz @oshergunsberg What's the story with the pendant on leather?

[Kim Kleidon @KimmiK7]

Great to see our #Farmers getting so much support! More initiatives like this please. Hay is in short supply through NSW and QLD, so anything funds can assist with helps. #drought #RuralAid @buyabale @charlesalder

@LaTrioli @BreakfastNews Absent from Twitter for months, I succumbed to the endless notifications, signed in, scrolled, clicked on your tweet and spent 15 minutes getting to the bottom - very entertaining. Please stop sharing your mail it messes with my time management. 😂🤪

[Kim Kleidon @KimmiK7]

@Barnaby_Joyce It's a great short-term vision (kind of like political terms of office). What are you planning in the long term?
