@midnightriderV2 actually US banks are allowed to do business in Canada! there about 15 US banks doing business here in Canada. ( Chase Bank for 1)The US banks doing business here must follow our banking rules, so some have chosen not to do business here.
Jim Balsille just wrote a pretty harsh takedown of Mark Carney's economic policies.
Carney's calling card is that he's an economist, he says he "knows how the world works."
Well, this guy who built a Goliath of a company would disagree.

@vitamindees What I don’t understand is Alberta leaving is a heck of a more likely the Quebec. Every politician had a melt down when Quebec threaten to leave, no one bats an eye about Alberta. Saskatchewan would tag along with Alberta.
It's amazing that during this current federal election cycle, absolutely nobody has mentioned that Parliament was shut down, by the Liberals - supported by the NDP, because they were caught in a $400 Million Grift against Canadian Taxpayers.
This investigation is dissolved by the election and will never be spoke of again, if the same people who robbed Canadian Taxpayers are re-elected.
@AAACanadaBeef @AnnRolle_ Pierre was here in our small town when he was running for the Conservative leadership, he was in the local arena. It was shoulder to shoulder then. He stayed 3 hours afterwards to talk to every single person in line to talk to him.
I can’t think Carney would
@brianlilley The increase in housing was brought on by massive immigration!
Not Boomers! (My husband and I both worked two jobs to buy our house. ) i voted Conservative.
@JosephB1823@brianlilley I’m a boomer(1958) I voted advance poll , Conservative, why after 10 years of Liberals, I was frightened for what the future held for my kids and grandkids under a liberal government!
@brianlilley The Boomers that I talk to are voting Conservative, but I live in rural Ontario ( about an 1 1/2 hr SW of Ottawa) when my Con. Candidate open his campaign office he drew a bigger crowd then Carney has. It was outside , short notice invite
Brian Lilley asks Pierre Poilievre "Outside of Bill C69, which you made clear yesterday, (Carney) would not repeal, and you made clear you would. Outside of that, how are voters supposed to look at both of you and say, okay, how are they different?"
Poilievre "(Carney) advised Trudeau to print money and run up huge deficits that drove inflation. He opposes pipelines and energy production here in Canada."
"His policy on housing is the same as Trudeau's building up monstrous bureaucracies in Ottawa."
"Building up housing bureaucracies in Ottawa has doubled housing costs during the lost Liberal decade."
"Mark Carney supports the entire radical catch and release, hug a thug criminal justice policy that has turned our streets into war zones in many of our biggest cities."
"He supports the distribution of tax funded drugs and he continues to stand by the entire Liberal agenda of the last decade."
"If you want to know what the Liberals will do with a fourth term, look what they did with the last 10 years."

@FoodProfessor People always say they are willing to pay more, but when they open their wallets more often then not it turns out, they are not willing to pay more
