@rivm Does this sound familiair?
The alarm for approaching #COVID19NL#pandemic was raised as early as 31 Dec. 2019... and health authorities such as @RIVM are preparing to ramp up their test facilities NOW?!
3 months later?
What was their job again?
@rivm Can somebody explain to me please why there are so little tests being done? How do you monitor, measure, assess development and decide on next steps?
@rivm This is very sad. People are no longer tested and the actual infected people are HEAVILY underestimated. We could have saved many lives with better care and preparation.
@Brennyy_x@rivm Totally. In Germany they have made preventive orders for tests and they test a lot more. Looking at the dead rate and comparing to Germany, I expect that 15 k people are min infected
@geertwilderspvv@thierrybaudet The figures in the Netherlands are underestimated as there is no serious testing done. We don’t know currently how many infected cases we have in the country. We have the right for better care and information. This is really not ok!
