The Xi'an East Railway Station opened on Tuesday with the launch of the 257-km-long Xi'an-Shiyan high-speed railway that connects Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, with Shiyan in neighboring Hubei Province in the country's central region.
The railway station, with a station building area of 100,000 square meters, serves as an important comprehensive transportation hub in northwest China. Advanced technologies have been adopted for the construction of the station, such as panoramic intelligent construction and "5G + BeiDou Navigation Satellite System" high-precision positioning.
