A new video of the Deputy Mayor of the Bitou Municipality in Plettenberg Bay allegedly firing a gun, shows her handing the weapon to her bodyguard afterwards.
The initial video showed Councillor Nokuzola Kolwapi shooting into the air to celebrate her son's homecoming ceremony.
MANIKIZA’S LAST DANCE | Part 1
On the Western outskirts of Durban, the terrain starts to get a bit hilly.
The air is a little purer and the sights are mostly breathtaking.
I don't often travel to Waterfall.
But when I do, it's easy to forget I'm still within the boundaries of the otherwise bustling city.
Those who live in this part of eThekwini often have a rigid attachment to the area, and understandably so.
A tourism website describes it as an opportunity to "escape city life," yet remain close enough to its conveniences.
But some who've taken refuge here are escaping a lot more than just the noise.
34-year-old Jabulani "Mjey" Makhanya and his brother recently became residents of a secure, gated complex in Waterfall.
Like a little concrete cocoon, it's vastly different to their home in KwaNgcongangconga in the iLembe District.
While that rural village and its surrounds are equally picturesque, there are no estates there.
Mostly dust and dreams.
Although blessed with undeniable rhythm as a dancer, Makhanya seemingly opted not to focus on his natural skill.
Instead, he chose to dance with the devil.

Passenger dies on FlySafair flight
A FlySafair passenger tragically died during a flight from Durban to Johannesburg this week, prompting the airline to offer counselling services to those affected.
FlySafair confirmed that the passenger had been medically cleared to travel before departure but their condition deteriorated mid-air.
Despite efforts by cabin crew and medical professionals on board, the individual passed away about 10 minutes before the aircraft landed at OR Tambo International Airport.
The airline expressed condolences to the passenger’s family and acknowledged the traumatic impact on those who witnessed the incident. “We recognise that this was distressing for our customers and crew, and we are offering professional counselling services as part of our support,” said FlySafair spokesperson Kirby Gordon.
The airline has also launched an internal review of the incident and thanked the passengers who assisted during the emergency.
Siphesihle Ngcobo allegedly shot at police in Mpumalanga Township recently.
Fortunately, they survived - but he escaped.
He chose an informal settlement in KwaMashu to lay low while the dust settled.
Ngcobo - who was already out on bail - wasn't low enough, though, because KZN SAPS members came knocking on his door late last night.
Once again, he allegedly tried to use his gun to escape arrest.
But this time was his last.
The 35-year-old suspect was shot dead during the subsequent exchange of bullets.
Ngcobo was wanted for attempted murder and the possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
A 9mm pistol and several rounds of ammunition were found at the scene.
