@HighLimitRacing bound tomorrow @wcsohio against some of the best in the sport, a great challenge I’m looking forward to running against some of the best names in racing!!!
@DannyMac22m For sure and I agree. I would love to know for transparency sake a sprint car tracks true nightly take and red/green numbers, that might silence these conversations. I agree that without a deep pocket owner/sponsor, $5000+ a night is probably wildly unsustainable.
@DannyMac22m Yeah we all spend wayyyy more than that but if your track budget allows, great pay the winner more, but a “local team” can operate on $3000 to win a night and pay through the field better for positions 3-20 can continue to operate year in year out.
@DannyMac22m On the local level - I don’t see why anywhere isn’t viable for $3000 to win, $350 to start minimum. Cover the drivers cost of at least a tire and maybe pit pass for making the main. Anything over $3,000 for a local show is just lumping it on the top, and isn’t 100% necessary.
Have to make some more trips up to @atticaracewyprk this year given the great money they’re putting up!!
@wcsohio time to step up to the plate - far to great a facility and surface to be the worst paying 410 track in the nation throughout the field!!
The World of Outlaws @NosEnergyDrink Sprint Cars will be conducting multiple wicker bill tests in 2024 beginning with next month’s @DIRTcarNats at @VolusiaSpeedway.
