Leaving home is often portrayed as a major life milestone a sign of growth, independence, and “making it.” In today’s world, especially for young men, early independence is frequently framed as evidence of responsibility and success.

Families often understand the realities of life better than we assume; they can recognize when things are working and when support is still needed.

it can expose them to risky behaviors and negatively affect their mental health.
Starting life independently is a positive and admirable step but only when it is taken from a place of readiness, not pressure. Growth does not follow a universal timeline.

but because they feel compelled to fit a certain image. They may choose to struggle silently like skipping meals, isolating themselves in hostels, or enduring unnecessary hardship simply to avoid being seen at home. While this may look like resilience from the outside,

As a result, many boys begin to feel intense pressure the moment they enter their twenties.
