the fact is that these cops get a sense of entitlement when no one ever calls them
on their bullshit. that leads to them expecting everyone they encounter to give in to the demands lawful or not. when somebody pushes back they don’t know how to de-escalate and try to get out of a situation spinning out of control. where someone gets shot and in this case killed. i think the cop is almost entirely at fault for the death of this guy. if he has backed off i think this man would be alive. this man wasn’t a threat. he probably would have s gone to bed if they left him alone and come back later.
