It can be hard to converse with people who would rather protect themselves from being hurt versus being brave enough to state what they need from you and then letting just letting the chips fall where they may.

@MTradTaboo This may backfire. A lot of men who are awkward around women are that way because they see women as some kind of alien species, and they literally don't know how to interact with them, because they don't fundamentally view them as human beings.
