@CofRedCentral I won't be upset with Bjorck, but Carels is a great fit. Unfortunately, we aren't going to get any lottery luck so are gonna have to build slowly and sustainably. Carels fills a long term hole and if we take him, we basically dont have to address D for a long time.

It's frustrating to be a fan of this team but if at the start of the year you were told we would trade Naz, Weeg and Ras and then finish 29th, I think alot of people would take that as a good direction for the team.

Conroy has shown no inclination to sign these types of players to long term deals. Given what centers go for at tdl, I don't see how he stays

The young players should be better, but there is no reason to think we won’t be picking top 5-10 for the foreseeable future. Plenty of opportunity to get a franchise C in coming years

Flames traded Iggy and j bouw at the deadline and were ready to be in the hunt for Mackinnon but went on a run and instead ended up with Monahan. But dw, Eric Francis says this is good for the culture or something

@BLBReid @johnw_bender This is the hilarious thing. Some people act as though we have just torn down a contending team. We haven’t made the playoffs for 4 years and have gotten out of the 1st round twice in 20 years. The next few years will be tough but brighter days are ahead
