In an act of cruelty that shocked even Plymouth Brethren Christian Church insiders, a mob of current and former OneSchool Global students, in a convoy of two vehicles, deliberately rammed a group of deer on an suburban street in Nelson NZ just 3.5 miles from their OneSchool Global campus. Quinn Woodman, the driver and Mackenzie Brewerton have been named by police, but there were other students (including a girl) involved in videoing the slaughter and shouting obscene encouragement as Brewerton straddled the wounded stag and cut its throat.
The recent sentencing of Woodman drew national attention to the crime - Brewerton will be sentenced in February.
This is just the latest in a series of animal cruelty incidents involving PBCC perps, including the globally reported case of PBCC elder Pete Smith who threw a pet Silkie bantam to an alligator in a zoo, and the Adelaide AU conviction of former OSG student Oliver Selby for shooting a neighbour's pet cat with a crossbow.

This cruelty to animals is no coincidence, it is woven into the fabric of the religion - the PBCC take the Bible literally when it says that man should have dominion over the animals, and believe that animals have no souls. As a former OneSchool Global teacher said:

"The attitude of pupils was what I found most shocking after some time. It became obvious that they (due to their confined living arrangements) were outwardly extremely racist, and homophobic, and due to the fact that they considered animals (other than humans – although to a Brethren pupil a human is not a member of the Animal Kingdom) had no souls, they abused them on a regular basis. Brethren do not keep pets, but were very willing to share their experiences of torturing various different animals from birds to rodents, to chickens and cats, to the degree that I decided to invite the Scottish animal welfare charity SPCA into school to give a talk on the penalties involved in animal cruelty."

The other hallmark of OneSchool Global that is stamped on this incident would be funny if it wasn't so sad - the students are illiterate, both socially and literally. Brewerton and Quinn set up a snapchat group to post their bloody trophy pictures, and called it "Nz Poaches" - (presumably "NZ Poachers" was what they intended.) A search of Mackenzie Brewerton's Facebook comes up with a post he made requesting offal as follows;
