@FiresideYankees Cost Yanks the game. Boone needed to save Jazz to run. Had he been available to run for Goldy in 8th… game probably tied. We got Booned again.
Jazz Chisholm Jr. was asked if it hurt to get booed by Yankees fans in ALDS Game 3:
"It doesn't hurt. It's just confusing because it's the playoffs and we're trying to win games. So you're booing a guy that's playing trying to help the team win"
Cam Newton says Lamar Jackson is the best football player in the NFL over Josh Allen
"Lamar Jackson is the best football player in the National Football League." 👀
Cam argues that evaluating player performance isn't just about famous names or offensive stats, but whether teammates step up and make crucial plays when needed.
Cam points to his own Super Bowl vs the Denver Broncos, highlighting that Peyton Manning, won due to his teammates stepping up such as Von Miller, ultimately determining outcome of big games.
“I lost a Super Bowl to a quarterback that didn't throw for 150 yards. But nobody remembers that. They see Cam didn't win the big game."
"It wasn't because he got outplayed by a quarterback, it was because the quarterback knew he was deficient in certain areas, 'Hey, I need the defense. DeMarcus Ware, Von Miller, I need y'all to step up.' Say less, Sheriff, I got you."
"When you make an argument that says does more with less, says who? Because they have a name? You think James Cook is not more productive than Derrick Henry because of the name? Dalton Kincaid is not more productive than Mark Andrews?"
"When we've seen in the AFC playoff game, the Bills versus the Baltimore Ravens, we've seen a slew of tight ends outperforming other tight ends. [Isaiah] Likely made a hell of a catch, Mark Andrews didn't." 😳
"What gives you the right to say he's doing more with less? If it's time for you to make the play, do you make the play? I don't give a damn if you're Tom Brady or Jane Doe, make the play that you're supposed to make."
"More times than not, Lamar Jackson has been asked to do certain things, and he delivers. But his teammates don't deliver, which therefore makes his performance a wash."
"Make a stop, catch the ball, find a way to win the football game.”

Keeping everyone (including Africans) completely ignorant about Africa and the central role it plays in the economic and natural world is a core feature of Europeanised education, not a bug.
You're not supposed to know that the DRC is the most resource-rich country in the world, with an estimated $24 trillion sitting under its soil. You're not supposed to know that the rise of "western civilisation" from the 15th century on was entirely made possible by European contact with Africa, and that the resources and labour extracted from coastal West Africa from 1492 onwards are the entire reason why both American continents exist in their current form.
You're not supposed to know that both WW1 and WW2 were essentially wars fought over the right to African colonial domination and expansion, and that even the uranium that was used in "Little Boy" and "Fat Man" dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki came from Shinkolobwe uranium mine in eastern DRC. You're not supposed to know that the reason the country of France exists in its current form is because tens of thousands of conscripted West African soldiers fought and won against the Nazis in Europe, and the French thereafter shipped them back to West Africa and massacred them at Camp Thiaroye in Senegal to avoid paying them their due wages.
You're not supposed to know that there was nothing cold about the so-called Cold War, because the vast majority of the hot theaters it was physically fought in were on the continent of Africa. (Zimbabwe, DRC, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Angola, Eritrea, Zambia etc). You're not supposed to know that the ongoing Ukraine war and the war in the Sahel are in fact the same conflict being fought by the same 2 sides, and that the reason France is desperately pushing funding and arms to Ukraine even as it falls into internal crisis is that Ukraine is acting as its proxy army in West Africa, as it tries to regain its lost colonial territories there, especially Niger where the cheap yellowcake uranium for its famously cheap nuclear energy used to come from before the 2023 revolution.
You're definitely not supposed to know that the entire global economy and system of trade as you know it is built on ruthless extraction from Africa and ensuring that Africa does not control anything it exports. You're not supposed to know that "Italian leather" doesn't come from Italy - it comes from Kano, Nigeria. You're not supposed to know that "Swiss chocolate" does not exist because cocoa does not grow anywhere in Switzerland or Europe - it comes from Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire and Nigeria. You're not supposed to know that Israel and the UAE control the global diamond and gold markets even though Israel has no diamond mine and the UAE has zero gold mines, because both resources are literally being stolen from the DRC and Sudan on an industrial basis.
You're basically not supposed to understand that the entire geopolitical world as you know it, rests entirely on extraction from Africa, poverty of Africans, and your own ignorance about where everything you use comes from.
Completely deliberate 500+ year-old feature, not accidental bug.
The fact that the head of the Ku Klux Klan can casually do an interview without being arraigned by the FBI for Hate Crimes and Domestic Terrorism is truly a slap in the face to all people of color in America
This is the perfect example of what’s wrong in society because why does the person who averaged 7 points, with a -13 split have a voice to speak on a 4x MVP, 3x WNBA Champion, 3x DPoy, 2x fMVP, 8x All Star.
You know people don’t like to admit this but older cartoons they grew up with were woke and discussed social issues like this and were very on the nose about it
kids these days don’t know what it’s like to box a white owl white grape in your homie car parked in a sketchy plaza listening to some shit like this..
As textbook a hit as you could ask for. No helmet-to-helmet contact. An obvious attempt to avoid driving Mahomes into the ground. Just a shameful flag.
I know there is a lot of talk about QBs sliding… I slid my whole career & never took a hit like you see now & that’s when hitting was allowed!
I don’t believe it’s the sliding that’s the problem, it’s the TIMING of the slide! QBs are pushing envelope bc they are more protected & they expect defenders to just assume they aren’t going to keep running… bad assumption!
Go down early or just be a running back - the in-between is the problem IMO!
Marshawn Lynch on Jalen Hurts:
"They talking about this the year he gotta go do this or gotta do that, or he's gone. I aint hear you say that about Justin Herbert. I aint hear them say none of that shit about any of the snowbunny quarterbacks"
