My current partner is trans, 3 of my exes (2 of which I still talk to) are trans, dozens of my friends are trans, my uncle is trans, and I myself am also under the trans umbrella. Don't pretend to know better.

I have met exactly two people ever that felt misgendered by "they/them" (both go by it/its instead). 99% of the time it's not misgendering and is just a safe thing to default to (and as a safe default, it just comes out naturally sometimes and it's not a big deal).

The former would be one thing, the latter is just bigotry and erasure, and thus not okay. Also "they" never stopped being singular as you suggest. (2/2)

@kippykip1 @cheapmoab @CisHetKrls Non-binary people have always existed (examples: Gluck, the Public Universal Friend), we just didn't have a proper term for them in English till recently. If your dictionary said that "they" is *only* used in the plural form, it was wrong. As for the mod you mention... (1/2)

Additionally, also as I said, you not knowing who they're referring to till a future line is just a you problem. I had no issues understanding when it was Kris being referred to.

"They" is used for groups, or as a gender-neutral pronoun for a singular person of either indeterminate gender or enby identity.

It's gender neutral so it's rarely wrong, it's just my natural default so sometimes I just say it automatically, and sometimes depending on context it just flows better. It's really not that deep.

The game makes it very clear that we aren't Kris; Kris is their own person, a person everyone refers to as "they" without knowing about us

@GarveyFunGuy @__suffering__y @ItsSaulGoodDude If you want difficulty, that's what the secret bosses are for, as they are *far* more difficult than anything else in the game. If you play the game and first try every secret boss, then oh well I guess you're just cracked and an extreme outlier.

The game is meant to be easy enough for most people to beat, because it is a story game first and foremost and making it too hard for most people would make it so they can't experience the story firsthand.
