But at the cost of extreme health risk
Not even just on the field
Even after retirement the brain damage
Has taken such a severe amount of trauma
That many never recover to thrive in a healthy retirement

Many suffer mental illness
And as we see CHRIS JOHNSON
One of my favorite running backs
Coming up at only 40 is suffering from the disease ALS which is a fatal disease

But what they won’t tell you
Is many FOOTBALL PLAYERS ARE MORE EXPOSED TO THIS DISEASE
FROM THE CONSTANT HEAD TRAUMA THROUGH THE YEARS
