Not really a numbers guy (I am), but I didn't think this video would go anywhere. Reaching +500 views is insane. Not to mention that a total of +70 hours of people lives spent watching what I made, incredible.
Made a video of unc's TNS run with the free time I had. Was fun getting back into editing. I want to make more videos with other channels for fun like Librarian or VTuber clippers, but I'll see what the future has for me

I find it funny how SOL's was harder to make because of the nuance of it all. That compound of effects still racks my brain, but I wasn't gonna understand it all in a few hours realistically😅
However, CF's might be simple but I love how it turned out. It's crude but silly😄
It's been a while since I've been practicing and learning different styles of thumbnails, since I've been busy with school and life. But with the little free time I had today I made this. Inspired (directly copied) from @SolessSol and @ColdFusion_TV.
Made 2 more as practice. Again, its nothing more than copying designs I see on my home page but I'm getting better at navigating Affinity and the workflow is quite fun actually.
Designs were from @Royalishere1's Sinder video and @BlastedSalami's Yun overview video

I decided to learn Affinity since it's free and copied some thumbnail designs to learn how to get better at making my own. Much like my editing, I find it easier to learn from others than make a style that feels unique to me.

I'm still yet to understand what makes a good thumbnail, and until that clicks for me I'll just keep creating until I get it. I do want to get on Sajam's level at some point. His thumbnails are fantastic.

@SolessSol Thanks for the kind words. I graduate next year around November. By that time you most likely will find an editor as good or better than me.
Because of how much I enjoy watching @Bri4nF and studying @Big2xA, the formula for making a Road to Warlord-esque video is etched into my brain.
DoubleA to me is like what Opera was to daytime talk shows TV, the formula just works. I will at some point make a style unique to me.
I haven't experienced my receiving twitter notifications every hour on the hour like that in years. I don't wanna chase numbers again so I need to be careful in the future when it comes to this thing.
I didn't think this tweet would get so much attention, even from notable people I watch, I thought it would drown in the sea of tweets like my others do. Thanks for making the number go up, it gave my brain lots of serotonin.
Now back to ignoring this app, have a great day👍

Notice:
As of now I am going to close editing commissions. I'm struggling to find balance for school and my personal life and editing would be too much of a burden for me.
Thank you again to those that considered and I apologise again to those that didn't end up working out.
Editing services will resume on Monday (14/07), and following this is a reduction in base rates:
$30 for 10 min vid
$10 for 3 min clip

The editing style in hindsight does not fit the sub genre this footage is meant to be used for. But was still fun to make nonetheless, each video has it's own problem solving that is always a great learning experience.
A practice video I made using the first set of @loveYinghua's invitational some time ago and has been sitting in my hard drive collecting dust
