Sgt Adam Desborough, Trumpet Major of @KingstroopRHA, responsible for delivery of training and development of mounted buglers for SCPD and defence engagement.
I think I will be right in saying, a first for a Gunner to complete this course. And it has to be said he has done very well to convert to the 'light' drill temporarily.
Good Double! Well Trumpet Minor👍👍👍📯
Schrodinger's Armed Forces - They can be both smaller due to technology, but need to be larger to cope with a national crisis.

Throughout the USS Triton's secret mission to circumnavigate the world submerged, the only unauthorized individual to spot the submarine during those sixty days was a Filipino man on his canoe, who noticed its periscope. April 1, 1960.
The Captain, Edward Beach, later wrote in his log:
"It is a ludicrous situation: On one hand an impassive Asian, staring with curious concentration at an unusual object in the water; on the other, a U.S. Navy officer, equipped with all technical devices money and science can procure, looking back with equally studied concentration. On one end of the periscope, an outrigger canoe propelled by the brawny arms of its builder; on the other end, a $100,000,000 submarine, the newest, biggest, most powerful in the world, on a history-making voyage. What an abyss — what centuries of scientific development — lie between me and him!"

@MilitaryBanter Hello mate, I personally wouldn't be able to help as I will be busy that day, but if you email [email protected], they may be able to source one for you. I am unsure of what costs will be incurred though.
I have no idea whether Cpl Herbert Desborough or Pvt John Thomas Desborough are related to me in any way but here they are, Soldiers of the Great War who paid the ultimate sacrifice whose bodies were never found, immortalised at the Thiepval memorial.
We will remember them.
