A quiet and powerful expression of peace in Siem Reap yesterday.

“Candlelight for Peace, with a meditation ceremony for the well-being of the Cambodian people.”

Cambodian citizens, along with foreign residents and visitors living and working in Siem Reap, gathered to light candles in mourning for the suffering caused by war and to call for lasting peace for Cambodia. Through this simple act, they sought to show the world a shared wish: for the fighting to end and for peace to return.
