This is an absurdly bad take based on a complete misunderstanding of the world.

Russia literally invaded Ukraine and tried to kill Zelensky. China and Russia regularly take illegal and illegitimate actions throughout the world. Us refusing to take action against an indicted illegitimate dictator in Venezuela has never been some safeguard against China and Russia doing bad things.

The reason Russia and China don��t do certain things is fear of escalation/blowback. They are deterred by the perception that certain actions will have more severe consequences that are not worth it.

If anything, the U.S. operation last night will make that deterrence stronger, not weaker. It makes it clear to the that we will protect American interests.
