Following involuntary route cancellation (PNR: 84E86P), Air India explicitly offered an alternate (AI 2027/ AI 8576)via public tweet,which I accepted. Now contradicting this offer with boilerplate response,violating DGCA CAR Sec 3,Series M,Part IV.

@airindia Under DGCA CAR Section 3, Series M, Part IV, passengers facing involuntary cancellations are entitled to alternate travel to their final destination at no extra cost. Suitable inventory via Frankfurt (AI 2027 / LH 830) is currently bookable on Air India's website for my date.
