What an absolute cracker start to the Women’s FIFA World Cup. We’ve never won a game in the WC and against all odds we did it. Awesome being the hearty NZ underdogs. Incredible @nz_football! It. Is. On.

“I will never apologise for lifting the prospects of low income New Zealanders, it’s about dignity, hope and opportunity.”
Labour Finance Minister, Grant Robertson, 27 May 2023.
Such an inspiring and uplifting speech to energised Party members.
Simeon is a bit confused. The proposal will see signs in English AND Te reo. The US, England, Ireland, Wales manage bilingual signs but Simeon + Chris Luxon reckon it’s simply too tricky for NZers. I back NZers and reckon we are quite up for the task.

@MarkMitchellMP@NZQandA Up to you chief if you want to spend millions on a project that has an 85 percent failure rate sounds like a tax payer funded university for crims to me. #FasterFitter
National Party candidate on @NZQandA just confirmed that boots camps were a failure, even on their own numbers. He just acknowledged 85% failure rate for kids that went through them. Just creates faster, fitter, well connected young people + putting them on life long Rd of crime.
A truely Labour value speech given this morning from Dep Leader Kelvin Davis to our delegates: we must be courageous, we must govern for our children’s children. We cannot afford to put of systemic challenges because they are too hard. Our kid’s kids deserve more from us today.
