@missjredwards Took the leap and hoping not to feel on my knees by the time my holiday comes around in October! I've moved to be a family worker for the council,so far so good!
@SarahGi78263526 Left in July after 21 years and have the same feeling,bliss! I've also realised that next weekend will be my first without any thoughts of work- very excited for it!
@RogersHistory Part of the reason I just left after 21 years is the inflexibility of teaching. Not all life things happen in term time and having to feel awkward going to ask for time off is not right.
@mossgatherer_ For me it was more detrimental when they appeared halfway through maths/English having missed the input so then didn't have a clue what they were doing. It was never the ones that could catch up easily either!
