That’s Congress MP Renuka Chowdhury dropping truth bombs in Parliament yesterday.

She tore into the government’s controversial Transgender Amendment Bill, calling out how it strips away self-identification, forces transgender persons to go through medical boards and bureaucratic hurdles, violates privacy & bodily autonomy, and narrows the definition — leaving out transmen, non-binary, and gender-diverse people.

“This is not about existence, but about discrimination,” she said.
She reminded the House that every MP self-declares their gender on forms without scrutiny, yet the same dignity is being denied to transgender citizens.

My priceless moment with my leader & idol, @RahulGandhi ❤️

Myself & few other social media warriors had the rare privilege of spending nearly 4–5 hours with him, discussing India’s polity in depth. The Respected Leader of the Opposition took time to speak about the state of our politics today the widening polarization, the growing climate of fear, and how minorities, Dalits and vulnerable communities are often pushed to the margins.

What moved me most was his clarity and conviction about bringing people together, healing divides, and restoring the soul of our nation.

And beyond all the politics, what truly left me speechless was his humility, compassion and down-to-earth nature. No airs, no distance just a thoughtful listener and a deeply grounded human being.
