We send missions into space, build world-class airports and run sleek Vande Bharat trains. And then millions of Indians commute like this every day. It’s risky, dangerous and unacceptable. India cannot aspire to first-world infrastructure while accepting this as normal. 😱

A 19-year-old’s HDFC ERGO cashless claim couldn’t be approved just 80 days after buying the policy.
The family paid for the surgery themselves.
Yesterday, they received confirmation of ₹1,54,000 reimbursement.
Here’s what changed. 🧵👇
I sold my Mahindra Thar and Tata Harrier to Cars24 in February. It's been 5 months, and my issues are still not resolved.
For my Mahindra Thar, Cars24 deducted ₹500 from my payment for a traffic challan but never paid it. Because of their negligence, I had to visit the authority twice for party peshi and eventually pay the challan myself. Even after the RTO signatures are complete, they are still holding ₹10,000 for the party peshi.
For my Tata Harrier, Cars24 deducted around ₹30,000–35,000 for pending challans. Once again, they failed to pay them. It was only after repeated complaints that the challans were finally cleared.
After my previous post, the Cars24 team contacted me and asked me to delete it, promising that everything would be resolved. I trusted them and removed the post. Today, when I asked for an update, I was simply told to send another email.
This is completely unacceptable. If you can't manage the paperwork and payments properly, why are you taking customers' cars?
Please repost this so more people know what I have gone through. Think twice before selling your car to Cars24. My experience has been nothing but delays, broken promises, and poor customer service.

England coach Thomas Tuchel on Lionel Messi’s masterclass against England.
“I’ve coached against some of the greatest footballers in history, but nights like this remind you why Lionel Messi is different. We prepared for him all week. We had plans, we had markers, we had instructions… and none of it was enough. He punished us with two moments of absolute genius.”
“You can stop him for 85 minutes, but Messi only needs five seconds to destroy everything you’ve built. That’s what happened tonight. Two assists, no panic, no wasted movement just pure football intelligence. He doesn’t force the game. He waits… and when you make one mistake, you’re dead.”
Manoj Madhusudhanan took a ₹1.86 crore home loan from ICICI Bank.
As collateral, he handed over his original property documents. Every homebuyer does this. You have no choice.
ICICI Bank sent those documents to their storage facility in Hyderabad via courier. Somewhere on that journey — Bangalore to Hyderabad — the documents vanished.
Gone. Originals. Irreplaceable.
When Manoj found out, ICICI Bank had one answer: it was the courier company's fault. Not ours.
He went to the Banking Ombudsman. They told ICICI to publish a public notice about the loss and pay him ₹25,000 for the trouble.
Twenty-five thousand rupees. For losing the original documents to a ₹1.86 crore property.
Manoj sent a legal notice. ICICI denied any mistake.
He went to the NCDRC.
The apex consumer court looked at the facts. The bank had taken custody of the documents. The bank had chosen the courier. The bank could not hand that liability to a third party and walk away.
ICICI Bank — India's second-largest private bank, ₹9 lakh crore in assets — was held liable. Ordered to obtain reconstructed certified copies, issue an indemnity bond, and pay ₹25 lakh in compensation.
One loan. One lost file. One bank that blamed the courier.
Save this — if your bank loses your original property documents, they cannot blame their courier agent. The documents were in their custody. The liability is theirs. File at your district consumer forum. The law is on your side.

FIIs have pulled over ₹2,87,000 Cr from Indian equities in 2026 so far.
Nearly half of that selling has come from a single sector.
At the same time, foreign investors have steadily increased exposure to a handful of others.
Here's what the data reveals. 🧵

Rarely Seen. Never Forgotten.
This leaked CCTV footage captures one of the least discussed chapters of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks—the courageous actions of Indian Navy MARCOS (Marine Commandos) inside the iconic Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.
As heavily armed terrorists turned the hotel into a battlefield, chaos reigned. Smoke filled the corridors, civilians were trapped, and intelligence about the terrorists' locations was fragmentary at best. Yet the MARCOS commandos entered the complex with little situational awareness, effectively operating blind inside a massive structure that had become a maze of death.
What makes this footage even more remarkable is the presence of a brave hotel staff member who volunteered to guide the commandos through the building. Knowing the layout better than anyone else, he placed himself in extreme danger to help the operators navigate the corridors and locate civilians. His courage exemplified the extraordinary bravery displayed by many members of the hotel staff during those dark hours.
Before the arrival of the National Security Guard, the MARCOS teams were among the first elite responders to enter the hotel. They conducted room-to-room searches, evacuated guests, engaged terrorists in close-quarter combat, and helped prevent an even greater massacre. Their rapid response bought precious time and saved countless lives.
The story of 26/11 is often remembered through images of burning buildings and prolonged siege operations. But behind those images were anonymous warriors—commandos, police officers, hotel employees, and ordinary citizens—who ran towards danger while everyone else was trying to escape it.
This footage is a reminder that heroism is often quiet, unseen, and carried out without expectation of recognition.
The MARCOS operators who entered that hotel did not know what awaited them around the next corner. They went anyway.
India owes them a debt that can never ever truly be repaid.

We have heard you. Clearly and openly. Over the past few days, our community and customers have spoken - and we have listened.
Today, we are standardizing our In-Store Style Guide and sharing it publicly and transparently: https://t.co/INMPMSWwyx
These guidelines explicitly and unambiguously welcome every symbol of faith and culture our team members carry - bindi, tilak, sindoor, kalawa, mangalsutra, kada, hijab, turban, and more. Not as exceptions. As who we are.
Lenskart was built in Bharat, by Indians, for Indians. Our 2400+ stores are run by people who bring their beliefs, their traditions, their identity to work every day. That is not something we will ever ask anyone to leave at the door.
If any version of our workplace communication caused hurt or made any of our team members feel that their faith was unwelcome here, we are deeply sorry. That is not who Lenskart is, and it is not who we will ever be.
We make a commitment today - not just in words, but in the document we are publishing - that every policy, every training material, and every communication that carries the Lenskart name will reflect these values.
We remain committed to applying these guidelines fairly and consistently, and will continue to review and improve our processes.
We will do better. And we will keep earning your trust. 🙏

Arvind Mehta died in 2018. Heart attack. 59 years old.
His wife informed the bank.
Submitted death certificate. Closed all accounts.
Three years later — she applied for a small loan to repair her house.
Rejected. CIBIL score: 492.
She checked the report. Her dead husband had been marked a "wilful defaulter" in 2020. Two years after his death.
The bank had kept billing his credit card after she submitted the death certificate. He hadn't responded. They had reported him to CIBIL for non-payment.
A dead man was being chased for a credit card bill. And it was destroying his widow's financial life.
She went to consumer court.
The court said: The bank had received the death certificate. Continued billing. Then reported the deceased as a defaulter. This is not a clerical error. This is gross negligence amounting to cruelty.
Bank ordered to remove the CIBIL entry immediately. Pay ₹5 lakh compensation. Pay ₹1 lakh for mental harassment.
He had been dead for 3 years.
They were still billing him.
Save this post. When a family member dies — immediately submit the death certificate to every bank in writing, with acknowledgment. Keep copies forever. That paper protects the family for years
Asked someone from the industry whether foreign investors are still interested in allocating to India. The TLDR:
Interest has pretty much died out. India is seen as geopolitically exposed, especially to an oil shock. There are no real AI plays. Valuations are rich. And the rupee situation doesn't help.
On top of that, investors who were sitting on gains have taken money off the table and are now looking at markets like Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Europe etc instead.
He also pointed out that our LTCG/STCG structure and the increase in STT have made India less attractive compared to other markets that are seeing inflows.
If we need to attract FPIs back, and we do, fixing this feels like pretty low-hanging fruit.
GUJARAT: A gang of 20 goons stormed a farmhouse on March 19, swinging weapons, smashing gates, and thinking they could terrorise with impunity. They also attacked an emergency vehicle. Within 24 hours the police had them in chains. Watch and enjoy the sweet, swift justice. Sometimes the bad guys don’t just lose — they get absolutely hammered.
In Panchkula, near the Khair forest area, more than 10,000 trees were cut overnight using silent cutters.
Khair wood is expensive, and the logs were transported on camels.
To avoid suspicion, the remaining stumps were burned.
This came to the notice of a forest guard named Vijay Kumar.
He said his father was a gardener, and seeing trees being cut felt like losing a part of his own family.
He raised a complaint with the forest minister.
But instead of action, he was suspended.
He is now sitting on a protest alone.
All this is happening in Haryana, where forest cover is already very low, around 3.25 percent.
So far, the issue has received very little media attention.
