I’m gutted to learn of the passing of my friend and poker media colleague Marty Derbyshire. 52 is too young.

I’ve many memories with Marty including this PokerNews home game back in the day. He was seated to my direct right as you can see in this picture. What a fun day that was.

Marty was always positive, did a lot of great work and live reporting for PokerNews and other companies, and I’ll never forget that grin. He could always make me smile. RIP my friend.
