Judge Romines is a friend who will be dearly missed by many; he was a thoughtful jurist who loved his state, his family, and his faith. @williamjewell Read more about his distinguished life - https://t.co/XU1vOHUWs3 #MoLeg
“If you had a vote in the Senate on who’s the most respected and well-liked member, Johnny would win probably 100 to nothing,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., an Isakson confidant, told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution in 2019. https://t.co/gAm7hzxTlI
Congrats Micheal. Always appreciated your “firm” coverage. I do want to highlight- a lot of veterans in KC received better care because of you and your work.
This is it. After 41 years at KMBC, much longer in the news biz, is my last day as a regular reporter. Will continue to help on political coverage. E-mail & phone stay the same. Thank you for letting me tell our stories. @kmbc
2) Jim was a hard worker serving the state, his hometown of Sedalia and especially the State Fair. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him and will long treasure his friendship. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
1) The passing of former Missouri Senate Leader Jim Mathewson means the loss of one of Missouri’s most effective legislative leaders in the 20th century. Jim was always a man of his word with a great sense of humor.
It saddens my heart to share that this morning my best friend and beloved husband Steve Walsh was welcomed to Heaven’s glory into the arms of Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior. Arrangements pending. Thank you to everyone who has lifted us up in prayer. ❤️
It was Henry’s sound advice that led to changes I supported on housing, nutrition, and infrastructure. My thoughts and prayers are with Belma, Stacey, and Keith.
I asked Henry to set up a community advisory council and he brought together ministers, local leaders, and citizens to consider the issues that needed to be addressed for the people on the north side of St. Louis.
The passing of Henry Givens Jr., the longtime former Harris Stowe State University president, is a great personal loss for me.
When I was in the Governor’s office and my time in the Senate Henry was one of my most trusted advisors on issues impacting St. Louis.
Bob Griffin, longest-serving #MoHouse speaker in state history, died today. He resigned during a federal criminal investigation and pleaded guilty to bribery and mail fraud. #moleg

Look around, St. Louis. It’s hard to point to a development or project without seeing Otis Williams’s fingerprints. Happy retirement, sir. Thank you for what you have done for #STL and our region. @SLDCmo
(NGA team + day Director Cardillo called @MayorSlay with the good news!)
A visionary and humanitarian, Dr. Danforth created the @DanforthCenter, dedicated to providing essential plant science and innovation to feed not only this country but the entire world. #BillDanforth (2)
Dr. Bill Danforth was a pioneer, making significant contributions to St. Louis and the world in healthcare innovation and plant science. His leadership @WUSTL made it a world-class institution, helping establish St. Louis as a leader in healthcare innovation. #BillDanforth (1)
With grace and wit - which I can attest was at times painfully sharp - Hank kept generations of Missourians informed about the issues important to our great state, held public servants accountable, and was an ardent supporter of @Mizzou. His voice will be missed @columbiatribune
