Had to take my post down about the racism going on in Rivals because of the amount of racist replies I was getting. They literally proved my point lmao.

Man, this community is something else right now. Hopefully it gets better once the devs finally make a statement about this.

@_slooshie thank you 😭❤️ I made that post because I genuinely care. As a white man, I know I’m privileged and feel like I should speak up when something isn’t right. The comments weren’t directed at me, so I felt a little guilty leaving the post up while other people were getting attacked.

@_slooshie And to be clear, I absolutely agree with the hate towards Blizzard for what happened. I also don’t think going from Rivals to Overwatch is suddenly going to “save you” either 😭 I love both games, I just wanted to clarify that part.

@_slooshie The Blizzard lawsuits shouldn’t be forgotten, but the old dev team and current Team 4 aren’t the same. The devs now weren’t involved back then. Blizzard should be held accountable, but don’t use it as an excuse to dump all that hate onto Overwatch and its current team.

@dvamonster As much as I hate Ultra skins, how they were implemented, and that they’ll keep making them, people take this way too seriously 😭 They’re just skins. It’s a first-person game where you can’t even see them. Why care this much about what someone else buys or uses?
