@RobinMartinPC What societal shifts have occurred with parenting/ jobs & job loss/ a 2.5 yr pandemic/inflation over all those years/ autism rates& ADD & ADHD rates???
@Sheen19852012@Teachers__Unite Women still make less in 2022, in many industries, and that’s a fact.
& pay more for most services consequently.
Ford is working for anti union corporations. Kids getting caught up in that right now.Don’t blame the Ed workers, it’s blood, sweat & tears day in & out...Know any?
@Sheen19852012@Teachers__Unite All jobs need more staff? Maybe those that don’t pay well enough- like the gigantic overhaul of early retirements & labour jobs losing employeees since the pandemic.
If you haven’t spent a full day at school, no way to know what goes on also. They’re *trying to improve things
👏
@Sheen19852012@Teachers__Unite Work conditions are also the kids *learning conditions. This fact isn’t rocket science.
More boots on the ground/ services are needed. Only Lecce spoke out (& Conveniently left out mention of these services), but he’s not even at the negotiating table!!
@Sheen19852012@Teachers__Unite People hire the cheapest labour going. We know this reality. Even during a world crisis for 2 plus years. Many businesses holding on by a thread.
Ed workers, getting good Govt desk jobs?
Oh yah, that’ll happen
@1StarAtaTyme If his numbers were true just imagggggine the 💰💰💰funds they would’ve saved on education!!!
Someone should ask him in a presser how much cash was saved?!
@Sheen19852012@Teachers__Unite If you’ve never looked for that kinda short term work, you wouldn’t personally know the challenges
Employers will say- we’re looking for someone more available... which jobs are 8 weeks, provide a solid contract, then a simple lay off or end of contract?!
@Sheen19852012@Teachers__Unite I’m not with CUPE, thanks ... but often to find very short term work, when employers often want someone available past a mere 8 weeks- isn’t easy! They want longer term employees usually, not shocking
@SharonT20519250@Teachers__Unite Did you have violence to deal with, on the daily, with your job??
Yah... I’m sure we know the answer to that question!!
