🚨 8 Kabombwa community leaders were detained, prosecuted, and convicted after defending communities affected by Tenke Fungurume Mining (TFM). Impacts of the mining include reported pollution, health impacts, and evictions.
We condemn the judicial harassment of the HRDs and call on authorities to prevent the misuse of judicial proceedings.

There is something powerful about a room full of care practitioners naming care not as women's burden, but as essential political and economic infrastructure.
Drawing on African feminisms and the Pan-African Feminist Charter, Day 1 laid a clear foundation: care is collective, care is political, and care is everyone's business.

Today, on the International Day of Remembrance of the victims of slavery and transatlantic slavetrade , the Government of Ghana, on behalf of the African Union, is tabling a landmark resolution at the United Nations General Assembly to declare the racialised chattel enslavement of Africans as the gravest crime against humanity.
The resolution has gained significant momentum, and as we anticipate a historic outcome of the vote, invites you to join the virtual Global Watch Party taking place today, 25 March 2026.

This was not an ending.
It marked the consolidation of feminist thought, political courage, and collective resolve to confront extractive power and reimagine economies that centre people over profit.
