Ugandans on TikTok collected money and bought phones for the 9 comrades who have been prison for six years likes of machete and Kalanzi.
Thank you comrades on TikTok.
Dr. Jimmy Spire Ssentongo @SpireJim has spent years using his voice and talents to hold power accountable as his contribution towards a better society for us all.
Instead of honoring his work, the regime is actively working to silence him through, among other oppressive tactics. A court order was recently issued against him, by which he is required to pay a total of UGX 30,000,000/= within 14 days or spend three months in prison. Why? Because he made a post on his social media platform calling out an injustice that, in the court's wisdom, amounts to contempt.
I am calling on all Ugandans of good conscience, in Uganda and abroad, to stand with Dr. Spire in whatever way we can, and help him resolve this challenge.
Happy birthday to our advocate twins, comrades @KakuruTumusiime and @TumusiimeKato! You guys are truly great, whether in court or outside court. Wishing you both a fantastic birthday!
Almost 4 months later, our comrade and brother, King Zale, remains missing! He was abducted near our studio in Kamwokya on 21st April 2026. The information we have is that he was tortured so bad that he's unable to walk!
My little girl is growing into a remarkable young lady, and my heart is filled with gratitude every time I look at you-or even think about you.
Never forget that you are deeply loved, fiercely protected, and capable of becoming anything you set your mind to.
Happy birthday, my Suubi Shine Nakaayi Itungo Mangaritah. π
Taata loves you beyond measure β€οΈ
Happy 70th birthday Mum.
As you raised my siblings and I, we saw all the suffering you endured so you could put food on the table, put a roof over our heads, and educate us. You are indeed my all-time hero.
May God bless you Mother, and grant you long life.
Dear Son, 21 years ago today, I held you in my arms for the first time.
I was still a young man myself and I remember feeling both anxious and deeply blessed. I did not have all the answers, but I knew one thing for sure; I wanted your life to be different from mine.
I wanted you to be spared the life struggles I had gone through.
Like King Solomon in the Bible, I turned to God and asked for wisdom. That is why I named you Solomon. That name was my prayer for you from the very beginning, it still is!
I had already tasted fame and some level of success, but I understood that neither of them could give a man what only God can give-wisdom.
I have always prayed that God grants you wisdom, discernment, courage, humility and a heart that knows what is right, even when the world tells you otherwise.
Today, I look at the man you have grown into and my heart is filled with gratitude. I am proud of you and I pray that you continue Walk humbly with your God, love mercy, and do justly (Micah 6:8).
As you step into the next chapter of your life, I dedicate you once again to God. May He guide your steps, protect you from the things you cannot see, give you strength when life becomes difficult, and give you the wisdom to navigate this unpredictable journey called life.
May the blessings of your ancestors walk with you and make your life a blessing to many. May your purpse be bigger than yourself.
Always carry yourself with confidence and be proud of who you are. Respect everyone, regardless of who they are, but fear no one except God.
Treat everyone the way you would like to be treated and never be afraid to stand for what is right.
Whenever life becomes confusing, remember the prayer that has followed you since the day you were born.
May God give you wisdom greater than wealth, character greater than fame, and courage greater than fear.
You were named Solomon because, from the very beginning, I prayed that your greatest treasure would not be what the world can give you, but the wisdom that comes from God.
May you be wise enough to know the truth, humble enough to follow it, and courageous enough to walk it.
Happy 21st birthday, Solomon Kampala Sekayi Kyagulanyi Galyenkanawa.
EMBOGO TEBAJILUNDA!!
