@LeaderGCC@Glasgow_Live@GlasgowCC would it be at all possible to open the main Gates to Queens Park and remove the Christmas trees from Kelvingrove. 2 days from high summer, the leaves have been there since January. Why is this so difficult ?
@MurphyNiallGLA@GlasgowSubway I agree with this sentiment Niall. The question however remains, how inept was the design and procurement of the station refurbs. There has never not been major defects .... all stations continue to be compromised 5 years on.
@TheGolfDivoTee Many years ago (think early nineties) Moortown had to close their 17th short par4 risk and reward hole following a similar complaint. Complainant then applied for Membership!
@penandniblick Thanks, we may have a shot at that for lunch on our last day. I read you popped off into the Picos after Pedrena ... did a bit of hiking there 10 years ago, fabulous. Cain (ka een) has a spectacular gorge walk & Potes excellent. Cangis de Onis also worth another visit!
@penandniblick Thanks Kenny, we are down to play it twice with an overnight in Santander then 2 nights in San Sebastian and playing Barozabal. Looking forward to it and will debrief you in full when we get back !
@crmsociety This started in January, it's 80sqm max, M8 down to 2 lanes, 4 years plus, not a peep when it will be finished. Recent 'refurb' of underground in disrepair (failure to control quality & use of inappropriate materials). Failed governance everywhere you look.
Delighted to present the front cover of my forthcoming book, Seve Ballesteros's Touch of Class : The 1984 Open Championship and the Meaning of Europe's Greatest Golfer. I hope you agree with me when I say it looks super, and is fitting given Seve's style, daring, charisma, power, touch, determination and out-and-out dynamism. Great work from the team @PitchPublishing and a big thanks to @MrAndrewCotter for his generous Foreword #themasters #golftwitter #Seve #SeveBallesteros #SeverianoBallesteros #TheOpen #StAndrews #TheOldCourse #touchofclass 💪⛳️🇪🇸
“The Shisk” wearing it’s party outfit today. You won’t find a more enjoyable course or place to play. Stunning, golfing Nirvana ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ @ShiskineGolf #kenonthecourse
This is a slip road in Glasgow outside the transport museum. It hasn't been cleared in over 2 years .. the tourist bus goes past here every 30 minutes .#GlasgowCitycouncil#Glasgow#culture

@laz_versalles As Peter Thomson once said - the difference between cricket and baseball is the added dimension of judging the bounce of the ball. A point he made to show off why links golf was more interesting than much of professional golf in the US - as a generalisation.
