A question I don’t have enough information to answer, but need to answer to form an opinion:
Is all the big important AI being programmed to prioritise saving the planet or saving humanity? Bc surely the latter would include the former but without the end of mankind risk.

And if we all keep obsessing over how it’s going to end mankind won’t that become a self fulfilling prophecy? Shouldn’t we be helped to focus on how it can help us and make that the self fulfilling prophecy? The news headlines that would require might not drive as many clicks…
