Habibur Rahman still struggles to overcome the harrowing memories. His beloved sister, Nadira Akter Poppy, and her three-year-old son, Yasin, were the centerpieces of his world. However, in the early hours of December 19, a devastating #arson attack on a moving train in Dhaka cruelly snatched their lives away.
Habibur recalls his sister’s desperate struggle to save her young son, a battle she tragically lost. The torment of retrieving their charred remains is a burden he will bear for the rest of his life. “Neither had any involvement in politics, yet they paid the ultimate price for the brutal politics of blockades and arson,” he laments. His sole demand now is justice for the perpetrators of this heinous act, whom he equates to terrorists and savages.
The world should hear the voices of the victims not the perpetrators of all violent acts in #Bangladesh.

Like members of a terrorist outfit, BNP Jamaat arsonists torched a pick up van in #Narayanganj aiming to terrorize people and stop people from casting ballots.
This visual shows the burning pick up van on the street while media reports already attributed this grisly act to BNP Jamaat men citing locals and eyewitnesses.
The arsonists set fire while chanting slogans to thwart polls as directed by fugitive acting chief @trahmanbnp from London through an interview with outlets like @AlJazeera and @AFP .
Outraged at overwhelming public presence during electioneering campaign, @bdbnp78@BJI_Official combine yet again unleashed a reign of terror on innocent people as the country is set to vote on Sunday.
These acts are clearly meant to derail the prelude to a peaceful election but not much concern has been raised by those foreign advocates of BNP Jamaat
