This is great, but it’s amazing to see how hard it is for Ai to capture - the subtle messiness of human reality - the most intangible thing that makes you not be able to discern the difference. We are still at the stage where our eyes can tell this was made by Ai… and maybe that’s a good thing that she never change?
@defileo Just a thought what if you create one
of those characters to discover a new technology and they decide they’re going to create a simulation ( within that simulation) - 😳
ICE I’m a genuine fan of your work, I know and respect your hustle.
CarShield uses reputable trusted public figures to sell “peace of mind,” but as a paying customer who has paid for years and is now trying to get one basic repair handled, my experience has been the opposite.
I’m being put in the position of driving my family around in an unsafe vehicle while CarShield delays, questions my mechanic, rejects videos, and makes the process so difficult that multiple mechanics did not even want to deal with them.
We love & respect your career, so I hope you look deeper into the company. People trust familiar faces. That trust matters.
In my humble opinion, CarShield does not treat customers fairly, and anyone representing them should take a very hard second look. With all due respect and awareness that these companies will make you think they are doing a good service to gain your endorsement but once they have it, they fail to honor your good name that you graciously lent them, in my humble opinion opinion. Im am aware you dont have time vet these people but I just had to say it. If it were me I woudnt want people associate my name with this company after such an amazing career and reputation!
🤛🏾 Respect!
@CarShield These people should be ashamed of themselves, and everyone that has experienced what I experienced should report these people to the Better Business Bureau
I’ve been paying CarShield for years and never filed a claim—until now. The one time I need them, for minor front-end work (control arm, oil leak, etc.), they’re putting me in a position where I have to drive my family around in an unsafe car.
They expect me, as a paying customer, to argue with a licensed mechanic about how to take a video and diagnose my car. Two videos weren’t enough for them. I only keep pushing because I’ve invested so much money in them over the years without a single claim. If I walk away, it’s like that money was wasted. I just want this one repair done and to be done with them.
A company like this should be ashamed, and any celebrity endorsing them should be ashamed too. In my humble opinion.
CarShield put me in one of the most unsafe and ridiculous situations I’ve ever experienced as a customer.
I went to TWO separate mechanics who flat out refused to deal with CarShield because, according to them, the process is so frustrating and drawn out that it’s not worth the headache. That alone should tell people something.
I finally found a third mechanic who was professional, patient, and willing to work with them. He inspected the vehicle, confirmed the problem, documented everything, and submitted the claim. Then came the delays. Long response times. Endless waiting. More requests. More hoops.
Then CarShield demanded VIDEO proof of the damage.
The mechanic stopped what he was doing and sent them a video. They claimed they “couldn’t see the issue.” So he took a SECOND video and sent it again. Still not good enough. Meanwhile, I’m expected to continue driving an unsafe vehicle while they play games and pretend they can’t recognize obvious mechanical failure documented by a licensed professional standing right in front of the car.
At some point this stops being “claims verification” and starts becoming obstruction.
You market peace of mind, but what you’re really doing is putting customers in dangerous situations while exhausting honest mechanics until they don’t even want to deal with you anymore.
If multiple repair shops refuse to work with a warranty company because of its reputation, maybe it’s not the mechanics.
This goes to show that how much attention (or inattention) you give something can loosen your control over what you actually perceive.
Try blinking your eyes quickly while watching the fast-rotating Yin-Yang. Can you make the blended gray patterns and flickering shapes disappear, and see only the clean black-and-white symbol again?
