I spoke with @MMcLeodNWT today to congratulate him on his third win for MP. It was a great experience to be on the ballot and to compete with him and Roland, Jane, and Lea. Let's all keep working in our own ways for a better North. #nwtpoli
@LeonMilner Thank you Leon, if I am elected and there is a minority I & the NDP will work hard for a stable, but more progressive Parliament. Electoral reform I know is something that we will push very hard on.
@LoriIdlout@Phumbling Good luck Lori and Lisa tomorrow! Hope to keep in touch whatever the results may be to help the NDP develop more Northern minded policies.
Big thank you to everyone who helped and supported me through out this campaign. I worked hard reaching out to leaders and organizations for weeks. Tried to make the most of this strange campaign. One last push over the weekend and it's election day!
Today i did something i have never done. I voted @NDP , im tired of the lies the Liberal's & conservative's feed us. Im tired of having a liberal MP who doesn't do anything for the NWT. Best of luck to @KKotchilea & @theJagmeetSingh . #Elxn44 go out and advance vote people!
With the @CPC_HQ platform commitment for Slave Geological and Grays Bay Port funding. I thought I should re-share a blog post from before I was elected on why I think we owe it to the people of the NWT to finish the Mackenzie Valley Highway first. #NWTPoli https://t.co/2NAXNFEHfv
Kelvin Kotchilea is a climate champion.
A young Indigenous leader, he is running in one of the ridings most impacted by the climate crisis. He's pledged to make tackling climate change with a Green New Deal approach one of his key priorities. #Elxn44

Very pleased to have met with the YWCA yesterday to discuss the hard work they do for families. We must stop gender based violence and break the cycles of poverty that exist in the North. #nwtpoli
I enjoyed the forum tonight, I especially wanted to make the point about how vital child care is to the North and I’m worried we aren’t going to see the affordable child care we are being promised by the federal government if they win a majority.
I sat down virtually with Yellowknife’s mayor Rebecca Alty and we discussed how the federal government can be more positive. A capital announcement here and there is not going to cut it when dealing with the legacies of colonialism. We need systemic change. #nwtpoli#cdnpoli
