🎯Exciting news for the Gene Control Mechanisms lab @IMBB_FORTH: We have secured funding to recruit a bioinformatician or a computational biologist to analyse multi-omic data and decipher molecular mechanisms ruling RNA transcription and DNA repair in human health vs pathology!
@bioinformer It has happened to us too. In our case, those were genes that had low counts, therefore we applied (and now on always apply) before differential expression a filtering, where genes with <5 counts in >25% of the samples are filtered out
