@ussdixiecrat I absolutely agree TF2 deserves more love ,always has, but it's 20 years old, what other FPS game that's 20 years old you can instal, join a random server and not have it be cheaters and/or bots?
@KingSavageAxe the game is BADLY written, but it doesn't matter much, because it's a sandbox. GTA is also badly written. Crimson Desert.. does it even have a story? Monster hunter... yea... story is like the last thing they do for these kind of games.
@jtalyon@KJovian you wonder why, the game journalism, heavily opinionated, agenda-fueled, and straight up incompetent and bribed, is not saying shit about BW's HORRIBLE writing since ME3 ending? really?
@BabylonianAUO@NMilangas@NineOuh90 agreed, quests are very lacking especially in the second region. but honestly i feel like gamers take way too much power into having *quests*, because DD2, just like crimson desert, are sandboxes. They should make some generic replayable contracts and that's it
@Dario08539002@andhare_arjun@mrpyo1 yes, i don't trust any game journos lol. the only thing i trust is actually seeing something at face-value, not this "my sources say X" or a shitty corpo releasing a trailer that only 1% is in the actual finished game then.
@Dario08539002@andhare_arjun@mrpyo1 is Jason Schreier a "game journalist" if yes, then he's not credible i'm afraid, they all lie cheat subvert and are opinionated
@Promytheuz@Spacecitylane@TwistedMindInc you don't get it, it takes A LOT OF BUDGET and A LOT OF TIME to also develop MP, which could 100% be made for SP to get better. on top of that, a lot of mechanics kinda needs to have SP AND MP in mind, so again, something suffers.
@AlmsiviSimp ye when ESO released, it was kinda broken, so that made A LOT of players/MMO lovers dip forever, if the game released at launch at the state it was like 1 year in, it would have soooooo many more players, because i remember sticking around and it was incredible
@thinktheythem@Pacifist_Elk@NathanielKristo this game is not about story, it's about having fun running around with pawns, exploring and doing cool shit in the environment/combat. And making YOUR OWN story, while having some actual quests to *prod you along*. Same in crimson desert too
@lumberflunky@HiddenTenno@IanAntirrhopus@QuestionStan23 you think so? i feel like even singleplayer will amas a laaaarge ass crowd, and even more of the same type of people who would be interested in the new elder scrolls too
