I'm not for drugs, but I am for freedom. In no way do I consider peptides the same as something like fentanyl, but restricting access to it has the same effect as restricting opiates for example. When someone truly wants something, especially drug addicts, they'll find a way to get it. Restrict Amphetamines, get meth. Restrict opiates, get fentanyl. Restrict peptides, and who knows what China and Mexico will import?! It seems like what they get to replace it only makes things worse.

If the DEA never restricted pain pills, less people would have turned to heroin, and in turn less people would be on fentanyl. In fact, we most likely wouldn't even have this problem with fentanyl!

On top of that, all of the money drug addicts have put in cartel's pockets, could have gone back into the local economy and more tax revenue. I'm confident that they wouldn't be as much of a drain on society, because they wouldn't be doing cartel made pills, that a lot of times are made up of a cocktail of random drugs, that cause serious mental degradation!

The DEA, FDA, and the so called "War on Drugs", have only created much worse problems, and created multi-billion dollar per year industries that drain our country, and hurt our friends and families!

You clearly haven't researched the history of when slavery was abolished. Here's a little history lesson:

The 13th Amendment: Following the Civil War, the Republican-controlled Congress spearheaded the passage of the Thirteenth Amendment to the Constitution, which permanently and completely abolished slavery throughout the entire United States. The amendment passed in the House with unanimous Republican support, receiving very few Democratic votes at the time.

Reconstruction Amendments: Republicans also passed the 14th and 15th Amendments, which granted citizenship and voting rights to former slaves (men), though these efforts were largely opposed by the Democratic Party at the time.

The Republican Party, made up of mostly straight white Christian men, made it possible for you have a voice and be seen.

Net worth includes everything like stocks, real estate, life insurance policies, and pension equity. It also includes other things like credit card debt, medical bills, mortgages, car loans, and unpaid taxes.
Just because someone's net worth is $351 billion doesn't mean they have $351 billion to spend. Even if he did, I still would agree with you. Just because someone has more doesn't mean they should have to support other people. Instead, why don't we stop giving trillions of dollars away to other countries and build up our own country? Oh ya, Elon is literally in the process of making that happen! Thank you Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy for D.O.G.E.!
