80 years of iconic Klipsch images | Anechoic Chamber, 1982 – Engineer Jim Hunter, measures frequency response in the Klipsch anechoic (without echo) chamber in Hope, Arkansas. The chamber, complete with a patented revolving door designed by Paul W. Klipsch and Hunter, was built in 1980 to more accurately conduct acoustic testing to improve loudspeaker performance. Shot by chief engineer Gary Gillum, this image appeared on the cover of the summer 1982 issue of Inside Arkansas magazine - Vol 18, Issue 2.
